"When there are no places to process the grain, which involves drying, classifying, cleaning and then storing, the farmer feels forced to enter the market and get rid of his production. And then the supply comes massively, from all the parties, and causes agricultural prices to fall", says the director, who is president of the Grain Storage Sector Chamber of ABIMAQ - Brazilian Association of the Machinery and Equipment Industry.

Bertolini recommends the construction of warehouses within rural properties, so that the structure can keep up with production growth. "The farmer must understand that the business of storing, drying and processing his own production is part of his business as a whole, and that this outsourcing is very expensive", he emphasizes.
